On Thursday when I was hanging out with one of my oldest and best friends Julie, we tried to go to Yardhouse to get a drink but it was completely packed with USC students and people who just got off work for happy hour. We decided to check out the other restaurants around Yardhouse at LA Live and we came across Rosa Mexicano.
I love the ambiance at Rosa Mexicano because it had dimmer lighting, blue tile waterfalls on one side, excellent service, and handmade guacamole, tortillas, and delicious salsa! We decided to order the Guacamole and chips as well as a Margaritas. They make the Guacamole at your table which is fun and you get the option of how spicy you want it to be. Julie and I ordered the frozen pomegranate margarita, and I had to let her finish mine because they were pretty stiff. It's their signature cocktail that has the perfect balance of sweet and tart. It's made with pomegranate juice, tequila blanco and lime juice. The Margaritas were absolutely fantastic! The bill ended up being about $35 w/ tip.
Highly recommended. Perfect date-spot or place to stop for drinks with friends. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but it all looked delicious!
