I figured I would continue with the Italian theme, it is making my mouth water! Ever since Jr.High, my beloved mother has been shopping at Italia Imports, a small Italian foods store with a large and unique selection. The meats and pre made pastas are perfect for those willing to try something new and authentically Italian. The shop is family owned and run with Italians running all over the place. Grandma's making her minestrone soup in the back, be sure to try it and be willing to adopt her as your new Italian Grandmother. Lasagnes and Pastas are prepared in the back as well by the talented ladies in the family. The men are the meat slicers and cashiers, always ready to help with a smile on their faces. Part of the reason my Mom has continued to shop here for so long is the employees. Their friendly, "neighborhood" association and attitude makes the atmosphere feel like home. The prices are a bit more expensive than the local grocery store, but the quality is well worth it.
