For those of you who who are visiting the Seattle waterfront, yet are looking to avoid seafood, there are a couple good options available; one of them is The Old Spaghetti Factory on Elliott Avenue. A classic Italian eatery, the decor exudes a palpable comfort which allows for an enjoyable lunch or dinner.
One of the most important things to remember with the Spaghetti Factory is to make reservations if possible, if you wait until the lunch and dinner rush, you'll find yourself waiting a pretty long time to get a table. Asides from that, the Old Spaghetti Factory will leave you pleased; with their vast array of menu items, there's something for everyone, and it all is good.
Last time I went there with my family, we got to dine inside a giant 20 foot trolley which they keep in the center dining area; it's a fun experience which you really can't replicate at other locations. I ordered the Italian sausage and meatballs, which came with enough food to leave me more than satisfied.
It's hard to put a finger on what makes this place such a classic, but if you give it a chance you'll recognize it as such. So for all of you who are looking for a great meal in Seattle, this is your place.
