The Best Thai Food In Issaquah

The other day I decided to meet up with my friend for lunch during his lunch break. He works at Costco's corporate offices so we usually just walked across the parking lot to the Costco food stand for some cheap and fast hot dogs or pizza, but when my friend got in the car he recommended a Thai place not too far away. Noodle Boat is located on Gilman Blvd and was PACKED when we got there. Fortunately, the tables were turning pretty quickly because most people's lunch breaks were ending, so we got a nice table near the back. Their menu is printed on large fans and the list of authentic dishes they serve is so extensive that it takes up both sides of the fan and drinks are on a separate piece attached to the fan. The Chilled Thai Iced Tea sparked our interest and we started off with those: served in a small clay pot with a lid that has a hole for a straw, the fragrant iced tea is mixed with milk or cream and was surprisingly very sweet yet refreshing. We ordered the Golden Noodle Garden (stir-fried rice stick noodle, vegetables and topped with peanut sauce) and Phad Thai with chicken (Stir-fried rice stick noodle, egg, bean sprouts and green onion). The flavor of the dishes was amazing and you could tell this place was used to the lunch rush; dishes came out relatively quickly and the service was excellent.
