Why is it that when you travel you find some of the best food? Is it because I am not meant to live in a city where I can find over 30 different dipping sauces for french fries? While in New York I had a little rendez vous with Pommes Frites, a tiny french fry shop that sells a basket of fries with your choice of savory sauces that will blow your mind. I came in contact with this place at around 3:30 AM and there was a line out the door. I had never been here but I knew it would be worth the wait. We waited and when I got to the front of the line, I couldn't decide. I let experienced frite eaters order for me. We ordered concoctions of chipotle, sun dried tomato and horseradish dips. They were delicious. I secretly wish I had gone every day so that I could try a new sauce. Unfortunately, I only went once but it is something that everyone should try
