Today I'm doing something different; I'm letting someone else tell you their opinions
I like to eat! And I like to eat at new places, so my goal for my last year here in Seattle (hopefully! if I get into pharm school) is to hit up as many HH places as I can! So if you guys know any good spots, lemme know! We can go together ^_^
Bellevue
Palomino's - Yum on the Chai-tini and grilled mushroom salad! Calamari was good too.
Pearl - Blue cheese tenderloin and grilled Ahi Tuna. Thx to Matt for this one!
McCormick and Schmicks - So I didn't make HH but I had dinner and it was pretty good (crab bisque soup...yum! ) Macaroni was so-so, and the hot alcoholic cocktails weren't that good, though strong.
Joey's - WHERE THE EFF was the HH menu? There was like..one item for each day and it wasn't even that cheap, like a dollar off... lame! Service was good tho!
Parlor - Pool and food! and the strawberry lemon drops and the pizza is good too.
Zen Asian Bistro Sushi! Yum, liked the avocado crab bake, and stuffed mushrooms. Rolls were decent! Thanks to Mylinh for this one!
Future outings : Boom noodle and Purple Cafe (with the bestie hopefully!)
Seattle
Boka - So me n Lisa spontaneously decided to try this place and wow they have a coconut mojito! JUST LIKE VEGAS! And the food was pretty decent too. Nice atmosphere!
Dragonfish - My flaming Confucius drink was cool, tho the food was average..probably won't go back... oh well!
Maximilien - Not too much selection... I think this place is overrated lol. But it has a nice view.
Wasabi Bistro- Since I couldn't go to Umi late at night b4 I turned 21, this was my 2nd choice. I like the poki. But for some reason, I can't really remember much else (since Umi totally wiped out any memories of this place haha)
Umi - Favorite sushi place for me. I love love love and can eat everyday - the Tropical Paradise roll! It sounds weird but maaaan when you try it, its pretty damn good. FYI, it has mango, strawberry, tuna, and its own blueberry sauce! YUM, hungry.....Also the calamari is great and I like their sake martinis.
Earl's - Deep fried mushrooms! That explains enough! and cheap drinks! Tokyo iced teas are straight up liquor here... AGH so strong. Blegh!.
Future outings: Contour (hopefully today!), Ohana, Redfin, Serafina,
Hmm, about 300 days left.... should be able to hit up at least half the HH places in Seattle hahah... =] Embarking on a journey! JOIN!
Sidenote:
OREGON
Jake's - pretty good drinks and I loved the cajun chicken burger!!!! 3 bucks too! =]
That other place- haha I can't remember the name.. Vince's? ...the place with the other good Chai-tini! Food was okaaaay! yummy beer fruit ale tho.
However, Seattle beats Portland in HH heheheh sorrrry my fellow Portland ppl.
UPDATED LIST:
Contour Seattle, 1st Ave - This place was GREAT! Def have to go again to try the other foods, so many choices! YUM YUM. Drinks were decent. Had an almond joy martini.. lol coconutty. Strong.
Ruth Chris Steakhouse (Nov.1) - The Ahi Tuna was my favorite, such that I had to order one more plate after I finished. The beef sliders were also very good, but def not on the healthy side. Coconut shrimp was ok, and I had a Fresh Berry Martini made with Belvedere vodka and a bunch of other stuff. Very fresh indeed. Good place!
