University of Washington students are slightly spoiled when it comes to campus dining; our cafeteria at McMahon is far better than most collegiate comparison, with a great variety and reasonable prices. However, for those of you nor looking for a full meal, or are on the other side of campus, there are alternatives of comparative quality.
The Baci Cafe at the Henry Art Gallery is one of such alternatives; located in UW's resident art expose, it offers a great environment for those looking relax and relieve themselves from the everyday stresses of campus life. The food there is as close to gourmet as you will find offered by a university, with options such as Caesar Chicken Salads and specialty sandwiches.
You won't have to break the bank here either, with most dishes costing only around $4-6, a great deal compared to other local options. So if you're looking for variety, or simply want to enjoy a nice lunch while looking at some art, this is your place.
