Classic Pizzeria in the Emerald City
Tagged Places:
Belltown Pizza
One of the most popular foods on earth is pizza, and for good reason; there are so many permutations and combinations of crusts, toppings, and cheeses, that almost anyone can find a slice that they enjoy. That being said, it is unfortunately not too rare to have pizza that's more or less lackluster, either being soggy, overcooked, or tasteless. For those of you who are lost in your relationship with this Italian delicacy, I suggest you go and visit Belltown Pizza, on First Avenue in Seattle.
Belltown Pizza serves stone-cooked, hand made pizzas which have an exquisite taste beyond comparison of their over cooked counterparts: they're simply on another level. Each ingredient can be tasted in an extravagant medley of flavor, and I couldn't help but think of the scene from the movie "Ratatouille," in which the rodent sees blotches of colors for each, respective, flavor.
The ambiance is that of a cool, slightly reserved, but informal joint; which allows for the customer to feel relaxed and at home while eating there. There's sandwiches and salads to enjoy along with your entre, but once again, the real reason to visit there is their specialty pizzas.
The only downsides of Belltown Pizza is, ironically, it's popular location; being on First Avenue, you'll have to park a little ways away, as free spots there come and go in Seattle about as frequently as sports championships. Other than that, if you have the time, and are craving pizza, I suggest you check this place out!
