Great deals at great restaurants and other area venues are as close as your computer. But don't look in the usual web sites. Check out your favorite radio station web site for 50% off deals. Listener active radio stations have created pages on their web sites dedicated to offering their listeners exclusive deals from their advertising partners. But you don't have to be a listener to cash in on the deal. In Seattle, 102.5 KZOK, KIRO 97.3, Warm 106.9, 94.1 KMPS and JACK FM are just a few examples of stations offering 50% off deals to their listeners. This is a national program so I am confident no matter what city you live in you will find radio stations offering Half Off deals.
Here's how it works:
Go to the dedicated 50% off deal page (know that some stations have cute names for the program like "Sound Savers" or perhaps a simple Half Off Deal name) and select from the stations long list of current available offers. Click on the desired venue and carefully read through the restrictions. To get the 50% off / Half Off deal you purchase a $50 certificate for $25. There are limited number of certificates offered. After purchasing on line, the certificates are then mailed to you. The best certificates sell out fast so don't hesitate to buy when you see a good one.
These Half Off certificates are great for gifts too. Here are some samples I found in a recent search in Seattle -
Famous Dave's BBQ
Arnies Restaurant
Coho Cafe
Seattle's legendary Dimitriou Jazz Alley
DiStefano Winery
Arthur Murray School of Dance
Julias Restaurants
Tacoma's new swanky Hotel Murano
Funtasia Family Fun Park (just $11.98)
You will find half off deals on bowling, fitness, day spas, golf courses and many other places in your home town. Like this deal I found - save $1,015 at the Eagle Nook Resort and Spa, the ultra luxury British Columbia resort.
Here's another tip - be sure to check out the Clearance Sale area of the Half Price deal page for even deeper discounts. I got a $50 gift certificate to a local restaurant for $15!
So when you are looking for a great deal, check out your favorite radio station web site first.
