Last night's dinner plans

Being a native of Bothell, my parents and I realized we don't go out and do things in Bothell as much as we feel we should. Because it has been so hot the last few days and we are without air conditioning, it is difficult to stay cool and we have been desperate to find ways to beat the heat. Tonight, we decided to venture into Applebee's and see if we were really "eating good in the neighborhood". The place was packed. I felt really bad for the wait staff because they were not used to having a full restaurant, but all the customers seemed to be very content being in the air conditioning even if the service was a bit slow.
The Applebee's has an extensive to choose from on their menu. You can have anything from a sirloin steak for around $16 to a Caesar salad for around $5. I personally decided to try one of their signature dishes, the ribletts, my mother got the oriental chicken salad, and my father got the french dip sliders. For the amount we paid it was really an unbeatable deal. If you are looking to eat a gourmet meal, do not come here. This place is about eating foods that potentially anyone has the ability to cook, but simply doesn't have the time to or doesn't want to. I would recommend going to this place for cocktails with your friends or just a quick dinner.
