I think being the big sports fan that I am, it is surprising that this last Sunday was my first Seahawks game of the season (Ok, it was a rough game and we shouldn't talk about it). Needless to say Qwest Field is a new stadium, only seven years old and it can hold up to 72,000 people. Qwest Field is the host of the Seattle Seahawks and the Seattle Sounders. If either team is not playing, the field is hosting concerts, trade shows and consumer shows. Qwest Field does a great job of keeping the field clean, having a different variety of food and beverages and accommodations for everyone. I will stress something that I was really surprised about and annoyed. I went with a friend who was over the age of 21 but they would not let him purchase alcoholic beverages because he had a vertical driver’s license. Apparently, it is Qwest Field's policy to forbid anyone with a vertical license from ordering any alcoholic beverages. So, if you are in the mood for a cold one, make sure you have the correct license.
