Last week I was back home for my extremely uneventful Spring Break. I wish I had some suggestions for ya'll in Panama City or Miami, but unfortunately, as usual, they stay in the midwest area. I do however have a new Italian restaurant that quickly moved to the top of my Italian list, not an easy thing to do. One of the highlights of my week was a traditional family dinner out to Rocco's. I always enjoy family dinners. Good people, good conversations, and plenty of laughs. I enjoy the dinners even more when the food is outstanding, which was the case for Rocco's. An avid fan of Fettucini Alfredo, Rocco's version has moved to my new favorite. The huge portion was filled with steamed broccoli and the creamiest sauce I have ever tasted. My brother enjoyed the same dish. My Mom had the lasagna, a classic, but excellent choice. My Dad tried the Italian sausage. Each dish was fully satisfying. The large portions heated up nicely the next day as well. If you are in the mood for Itlaian, Rocco's will not disappoint you.
