No, I'm not slinging drugs or anything. My education comes from all of the places I've ignored on the Ave for all these years. Within the last year, I've tried Aladdin's Gyro-cery, Burger Hut, A Burger Place, and a lot of the different Pho places on the Ave. I've blatantly ignored several of the delicious places on the Ave for my first three years at UW, settling mainly for what was close and familiar: University Teriyaki. But no more, as I continue my quest to try all of the great places on the Ave.
Today I tried Shultzy's for the first time. It didn't seem like my kind of place, because German sausage didn't always sit well in my stomach, but I was with my marketing team from class and after a long hard day, we needed to debrief our meeting with a couple glasses of beer.
They had a decent selection with a good variety of beer, especially so close to campus. I got what was on sale, which happened to be some sort of German Pilsner beer. My team and I also ended up sharing a basket of fries covered in chili, which wasn't bad at all. While not great, it was something different and a place I can cross off my ongoing quest to try everything on the Ave. Now I just need suggestions on what's next.
