Irish Eyes is a well-known pub to the students of DePaul University. I have been known to kick back a few pints of Guinness and try my luck singing with local bands that perform on the weekends. Walking into this hole in the wall bar one will find fresh faces, most likely college students that have stolen their older siblings id’s, Irish décor, and plenty of people downing Irish Car bombs.
I recently went to Irish Eyes last weekend. It was my first time back there when I have been of age. I forgot how out of control the WHOLE bar gets. I went there planning to have an “easy early night,” boy was I wrong. I went there with one other girl and turned out we collaborated with the whole bar to sing Don’t Stop Believing with the local artist. I felt as if I was in a movie. By far that night was one of the funniest and outrageously fun nights of all time. Irish Eyes is in perfect location to numerous bars on Lincoln and next door to great drunk munchies stops. Located on Lincoln in the heart of the DePaul community, Irish Eyes is always a fun hole in the wall pub!
