Green Day’s Concert at Key Arena
Summer is a great season to enjoy live music with loads of popular singers concert- touring the cities and tons of local bands performing at cafes, bars, and everywhere. It is one of the million reasons why I love summer in Seattle so much.
That said, I have gone to many fabulous concerts this past summer- yah, let’s all face it, it’s ‘past’ now =( - and in this blog I would like to share with you one of my most unforgettable concert experiences that I still cherish.
It was last July where all these hypes about the legendary punk band, Green day’s concert tour in Seattle, finally hit my core attention. To show them some serious support, I decided to be an irksome person and finally convinced my ‘no-thanks-to-punk’ boyfriend to come to the concert with me. Highfive!
The concert was at the Key Arena, located in the Seattle Center. So we took the monorail on the final floor of the Westlake center, the ultimate shopping/food court. Monorail is a fast and fun skyline that takes you straight to the Seattle Center in only a couple minutes.
Upon our quick arrival at the station, we made a short walk down to Key Arena. It was nice walking along the Funky looking EMP(Experience Music Project) building, beautiful parks and fisher pavilions with thousands of other concert goers!
Key Arena is such a great place with prime location making a venue for all kinds of entertainments from sports games to comedy shows to finally concerts. Its state-of-the-art facilities ensure the best comfort of the guests and superb experience during their stay.
Plus, every time I go there I notice how clean and well it is designed, not to mention its friendly and helpful staff.
It is so conveniently designed that you can find our seats in the stadium, restrooms, and food vendors in the hallways without a headache.
Most of the seats offer great, intimate sightlines, but we decided to realize how we are young, willing, and don’t mind being a little crowded,… extremely crowded and then stepped down to the ground floor for the real concert experience!
Green day’s two-hour concert went by a blink with their amazing stage manner including the living legends’ phenomenal music and show performances and engagement and entertainment with each and entire audience for the full hours!
I frankly doubt where else could have made such a brilliant host for Green day.
Key Arena present me another unforgettable concert experience and I can’t wait to go back for more!
