I hate to write a negative review about a college bar because, in my eyes, a college bar rarely is clean and it SHOULD be that way. You want to be able to wear you college hoodie and feel like you can be as loud as you want. WELL this bar is not a bar where you can do that. This bar is trying to put a little VIP in champaign, where there really is no need. Girls and guys dress to the nine to come here....what??? Why dress up to be standing in a pool of vomit, urine and whatever unpleasantness you can think of. The service is TERRIBLE. I mean it's great if you know the bartender, but on a busy night (and why this place is every busy is beyond me) not even a friend/bartender can hook you up. The drinks are weak and they have created a dark atmosphere as to mask the lack of decorations and style of the bar. The music is way to long so if you were looking to be able to get a word in that night, this is not the place. Sure it might be good for those that enjoy dark places with loud music, but those that don't .....well this is definitely not your kind of place. You might as well just mosey on right night door to your favorite college staple bar...Kams!
