Pitt students often debate over which late night pizza shop is a better choice, Antoons or Sorrentos. These two shops remain rivals in the Pittsburgh Oakland area. Antoon's is a great place to go after a long night of partying for college kids and those alike. Delicious pizza for only $4.90 for a large cheese. You may have to wait in line during weekends, but it is worth the wait. It has only a small standing area, so for those really cold nights you could just walk a few steps next door to Sorrentos Pizza Roma. Sorrentos is equally as delicious and there large cheese is also very cheap at only $5 a pie. The upper hand that Sorrentos has over Antoons is there large dining room area with several tables to eat inside, away from the cold. Sorrentos is also known for their amazing, homemade ranch dressing. If you ever find yourself in Oakland late night, i would recommend you check out either Antoons or Sorrentos if you are looking for some good pizza.
