WHAT HAPPENED TO TACO TIME?
Tagged Places:  Taco Time

I grew up eating Taco Time food. In high school, my fav lunch was crispy meat burrito and a natural soft taco (I can't or shouldn't eat that much anymore) with mexi fries...mmmm, mmmm, mmmm. That was the meal. It was hearty, too. But tonight my family went and got that same items but I couldn't taste any meat in the taco and the crispy meat was very thin. I was thinking, "What the pho?" Like many fast food places nowadays, they probably weigh how much meat they give to their customers or something. I threw away the taco because I was so disappointed. I say we need to bring back the catchy slogan of "Where's the beef?" back.

My suggested remedy to your taco deflation...find yourself a traditional "taco truck". Those meals on wheels are without a doubt the best place to find great, cheap tacos, period. The meat is fresh and plentiful with fresh toppings like cilantro all wrapped in a freshly steamed corn tortilla. I question whether the lettuce is real at those fast food taco joints.

I would definitely tell you to go to a different location. Being a former employee of Taco Time, it's a testament that I can say I still eat there all the time! I would suggest perhaps a beef wrap. That has LOADS of meat! Don't give up on Taco Time Alex!
