Eric was craving for some sushi so we went to Katsuya at the Americana. The restaurant was supposed to be really great, especially since many celebrities eat there. The place was a very modern and chic look, which is quite appealing to the eye.

I guess they wanted to utilize every inch of the place but the seats and tables were really close to each other. It was a bit awkward being that close to the table beside me.

The presentation of the food was beautiful. However, the actual food serving was so small. Normally, I wouldn't complain if the servings were small but my stomach was satisfied. This was definitely not the case. We ordered three main dishes and as delicious as the food was, we were still hungry at the end of the meal.

Then the bill came and it was pretty expensive. I really felt that Katsuya was overrated. If you want to get sushi that satisfies you and is worth the price, I wouldn't suggest Katsuya.
