Alamo has always been a local favorite. Its proximity to houses make it great to walk up, grab dinner and a margarita.
Growing up, my childhood friend and I would always go get two bean and cheese burritos and a mini-nacho for less than $5. Over the many years I have been a patron at Alamo, I am pretty sure I have tried all the items on the menu and never have had a bad experience. In addition to the burrito and nachos, I recommend the grilled chicken tacos, fajitas, and of course, their homemade salsa.
When the weather is warm, the patio is packed with family members and friends enjoying delicious Mexican food. Typically, I take my food to go due to lack of seating but on occasion, I partake in relaxing on the patio.
