At my office, we have a gorgeous gym that I usually frequent during lunch or at the end of the day. The gym is owned and operated by the Pan Pacific Hotel (5 star) so it has all the equipment and amenities to ensure a great workout. Over the weekend, at Seafair, I slammed my toe on the boat so it's either broken or badly bruised so this week I've been biking a lot trying to stay off my foot!
Last night, after a good biking workout, I skipped down to Whole Foods for the ultimate post-workout salad. I don't eat meat, so I get really creative with my salads and have finally come across the perfect combination.
I start with cabbage (for a little crunch), throw in some green spinach leaves... then a scoop of dried cranberries, olives, raw mushrooms, slivered almonds, a shake of parmesan cheese... all topped with the delicious ginger dressing.
