Since I love eating Italian food, my best friend, Eric, took me to this spot called Buca di Beppo in Old Town, Pasadena. I've always heard of the restaurant, I just never had a chance to eat there. So, I was quite excited about eating there.

I've never been to Italy before but the atmosphere of the restaurant gave me the feeling that I was in Italy. There were pictures of Italian families and people throughout the entire restaurant. For instance, there was this picture of a big Italian man smoking a cigar while cooking and another picture of nuns riding bumper cars.

We had mozzarella as an appetizer and it was so delicious, especially with the sauce that they added. For dinner, we had this shrimp pasta and this spicy sausage pizza. The food was so amazing that I kept stuffing food down my mouth even though I was already full.

They do serve huge portions of food; therefore, if you ever try eating here on a date, order the small dish sizes since it is enough to satisfy three people.
