For those who love art, The Art Institute of Chicago is a must. It is located in Downtown Chicago, at 111 South Michigan Avenue. I went there last Thursday and spent a few hours looking at 5000 years worth of art from around the world.
My favorite art movement is impressionism so I enjoy visiting the second floor of the Art Institute the most. You can see Claude Monet’s paintings and many other impressionists.
Thursdays are admission free so I have to warn you- there will be a lot of people there. If you don’t like the crowd, choose another day (tickets cost $18).
