Who says you can't fall in love on reality television? Well, congrats to Jason and Molly for their recent engagement news. They were on the front cover of US Weekly and they even beat out Ivanka Trump's wedding for the cover spot. Sorry Ivanka. My wife and I've been married 7 years now, so we thought it would be wonderful to celebrate with Jason and Molly on their new engagement.
We started at Canlis Restaurant, and we were greeted to the best table in the whole restaurant. Thanks Mark for the nice room upstairs. The view was remarkable. We started with champagne and talked about their trip to New Zealand. We also talked about the realities of the Bachelor and how nerve racking it was......especially for Molly. Can you imagine competing with 20 other women for the heart of a stranger! Okay, so I don't know what's worse.....competing for love or competing not to get fired by Donald Trump?
Anyways, this meal at Canlis was perfect. The apps, steak, fish, etc, etc....was absolutely delicious. Mark Canlis even came out and brought us a few specialty dishes and even gave us a bottle of their finest champagne. Truly, a class act! Out of all the restaurants in Seattle, I'd put Canlis as one of the best places to enjoy service, food, and experience.
Next, we took our round to Amber and Hazel hooked us up with the best table. Thanks Hazel. This table could seat 10 people...so we felt a little small, but it was great watching everyone. It's actually quite comical to watch all these alcoholed-out singles approach one another in the game of love or should I call it lust. Nevertheless, the drinks were very good and service was excellent.
We wrapped it up by visiting Ibiza. Boy, it was a wild night on this particular Friday. I'll just leave it at that. Jason and Molly, you know what I mean!
Lesson that I took away is to love, enjoy, and live vicariously whether you are single, remarried, divorced, engaged, or 7 years into marriage!
