While your in college you do things sometimes at the spur of the moment, I on the other hand, think things through very carefully. Last year I only saw one tattoo shop that was insanely expensive and just rank. They had a bobcat in the backyard! I'm not joking! So my roommate and I continued to look for another shop. That's when we came upon A SPOT of INK & A TASTE of STEEL. Located fairly close to campus, but still a few blocks away. I was looking to get my fourth tattoo, my roommate wanted his first. I knew that these people were good at their job because they proudly displayed all of their awards and articles along the walls of there parlor.

Employees are friendly, most tattoo shops are, my only concern was their pricing. My most expensive work-of-art was $120 and it covered the uppermost part of my back and had color. I was looking to get a few words of wisdom going down my ribcage in black and gray, they wanted $110! Definitely not in my book. The price was so much higher because of the extra pain and uncomfortable tolerance in that area. They would have gotten the money from a first timer, but I was determined. After going back and forth about the price, I easily settled for $50. I'm good aren't I? All in all I was very pleased with the work, but scared at the same time cause I have a tattoo artist back in my hometown. I felt right at home in this tattoo shop.

If you decide to get a tattoo in Vincennes, Indiana, come here. They are clean, offer a somewhat big selection, and they are very experienced. Just make sure you know your stuff and avoid the bobcat on the way there!
