LA is one of the best places to try out different types of food. there are tons of dim sum places in the san gabriel valley area, but the one that i keep going back to is ocean star. it's the one place that everyone has been to, no matter what nationality. it's also the place that people go to when they first experience dim sum. this was the case for me when i took my friends to try out dim sum for the first time. they absolutely loved the place. they were so entranced to see how huge the restaurant is and every table was occupied. on top of that the lines are long because it's such a popular place that offers a huge variety of dim sum places. some places only offer the most popular items; but ocean star has dishes that some people have never seen before.
