My friend and I had spent the day walking around Boston, and decided we were starving as we were on Newbury Street, the most expensive street in the city. As poor college graduates, we didn't want to spend $25 on a sandwich but we also didn't want terrible food which is why Trident Bookstore was perfect. Spotting a small sign that said "food and books" we were a bit skeptical but we were pleasantly surprised. Part quaint book store and part hip cafe, they had great reads and greater food, all at a great price. The menu offered much more than I expected for a bookstore cafe to offer and it was hard to decide what to order. But that didn't really matter because after splitting the most amazing sweet potatao fries as an appetizer, I could barely touch my meal, which I ended up having to bring home with me.
