Northwest Indiana is very close to Chicago. So you can only expect to see pizza parlors lined from the most Southern part up to Chicago. Hammond, in particular, has a great pizza shop that is well worth being claimed some of the best pizza around town.

Verona Pizza has been in business for nearly 15 years and they still have it. The shop is a bit on a smaller scale and they only deliver to the surrounding areas including; Hammond, Whiting, And East Chicago. They offer some of the freshest toppings, reasonable cook times, and some very competitive prices. The menu ranges from Italian food, to veggie pizzas, down to gyros and shrimp dinners. In my opinion, Verona's makes pizza better than any nationwide franchise I can think of. Little Caesars and Pizza Hut and Poppa Johns can't even compare. That's my opinion. Only you can try it for yourself to understand where I'm coming from.

If your looking for a late night dinner, order here. They are open late for people who get those urges. Plus, if your feeling really good, go across the street and get a few beers to drink. Now that's a party!
