Imagine getting up early, not 8 a.m., but 6:30. You are walking down the street and you notice all these people are wearing costumes, and you wonder what is going on. Well welcome to breakfast club at Purdue. We get up early, dress in our Halloween best and hit the bars at 7 in the morning. All this happens before going to tailgate before every home football game. Every Saturday football game we dress up as ridiculous as possible, and going out to have some fun. If you are thinking this is too rowdy for you, don’t worry there is all sorts of people there. I would suggest getting there early to get a booth. Oh yeah, and the line will be clear down the street to get into one of the three bars that host this. It’s not too bad, for $1 or $1.50 drinks, depending on which bar you go too. Also, the people are pretty entertaining to watch if you don’t like to drink. If this crowd is too young for you, Harry’s chocolate shop opens at 9 a.m., if you need more of an alumni field. A costume isn’t required, but it just adds to the feel and the fun.
