Can we please give a round of applause to the person who invented bringing your own beverage to a restaurant. I will say beverage because you can literally bring any drink as they only serve water. While in the city that never sleeps I went to A Cafe where I had a great prix fixe meal and delicious red win (thank you Trader Joe's). This cafe can fit twenty people at most and it is important that you make a reservation before arriving. We had reservations for 8:30PM and the place was starting to fill up. The prixe fixe meals ($20) include an appetizer and main course. I ordered an incredible grilled avocado for my appetizer and my entree was a meatloaf in a mango sauce. I secretly wished that I was sitting at the table with the fifth of vodka but all in all it was a great meal and I love the idea of BYOB!
