| GeoPage.com is seeking a highly motivated and passionate intern who is interested in an online startup environment to help generate web content and increase traffic. This position focuses on branding our consumer website with savvy, user-generated content while leveraging social media tools. |
|
Responsibilities: |
|
| Interns must use their creative writing skills to post daily GeoBlogs (city-related blogs) on GeoPage.com and other influential social media sites including Facebook, Twitter, etc. Intern is also responsible for participating in weekly conference calls with GeoPage team and attending quarterly company functions. |
|
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Enrolled in an accredited University or community college
- Commitment to minimum of 6-12 month GeoPage internship
- Self-starter/entrepreneurial spirit
- Excellent writing skills
- Ability to create innovative marketing programs that generate results
- Considered an innovator or influencer in your circle of friends
- Interested in social media, technology and local entertainment
- Actively uses Facebook, Twitter and Digg with a minimum of 500 combined friends/followers amongst the three sites
