About Me

I am married with two daughters and, gulp, one grandson. Yes, I AM too young to have a grandkid (thank you!) but it's great. He is the single smartest 2 year old on the face of the planet. My wife and family are the best thing to happen to me but...

Many know that Western Washington's wine country is Woodinville. It is one of my wife and I favorite destinations. Every time we spend an afternoon in Woodinville uncovers another wine gem. A recent trip there did not disappoint as we found the brand new retail wine tasting room for acclaimed Tefft Cellars. So new that this location is not recognized on Geopage. But how wonderful all 12 Tefft wine varietals are that it won't be long this...

Let me tell you about a great time I had at the Snoqualmie Casino, about 45 minutes east of Seattle off I-90. A friend and I decided to take the drive to this new entertainment hot spot to catch a benefit concert in the casino's showroom. Local...

Great deals at great restaurants and other area venues are as close as your computer. But don't look in the usual web sites. Check out your favorite radio station web site for 50% off deals. Listener active radio stations have created pages on...

This year, my family joined the masses and headed out to the mall on the day after Thanksgiving, lovingly called Black Friday. By the way, does anyone know why it's called Black Friday? Anyone? Bueller?

Black Friday is the day supposedly that...

In my 40 years or so of life, I had never had the chance to visit the east coast of America. When my wife had a business trip there recently I quickly signed my daughter and me on as tag a longs. I put my daughter in charge of navigation for the...

If the recession is good for anything, it's good for creating deals at restaurants. This weekend I took my wife to lunch at Red Hook Brewery in Woodinville. The restaurant is called the Forecasters Pub and has incredible food items. We tend to...

About Me
Title: Founder
Organization: Classic Marketing Guild

I am married with two daughters and, gulp, one grandson. Yes, I AM too young to have a grandkid (thank you!) but it's great. He is the single smartest 2 year old on the face of the planet. My wife and family are the best thing to happen to me but I was thrilled to have spent the past 19 years in radio where I always dreamed to be. I grew up in Western Washington's only desert, Sequim, where I still have family (along with San Diego).

Activities:
Golf, tennis, basketball
I love to eat...I'll try just about anything once.
I enjoy good red wine, scotch and micorbrews

Interests:
My family, music, travel and food, drink, keeping in touch with friends, Fantasy Football and sports (golf, tennis, football)...when I can include all of these, it's a great day.

Favorite Music:
Aside from being an out in the open fan of Journey (the "B" side stuff) I love The Beatles, Canadian rock band Tragically Hip, Bon Scott AC/DC, Earth Wind and of course Fire, The Eagles, Steely Dan, Alicia Keys, Sade, Snoop D O double G, Pink Floyd, U2

Favorite TV Shows:
My time is limited to watch too much TV, but 30 Rock is the single greatest current comedy show on TV right now. The Daily Show and The Soup are close seconds. Anthony Bourdain's No Reservations and other edging travel shows rank up as worthy tune ins. Strangely, I miss the Apprentice...why?

Favorite Movies:
So many...so little time to list them all.

Favorite Books:
The Divinci Code and John Grisham books are great.

Favorite Quotes:
It's A Long Way To The Top If You Want To Rock n Roll

Have a song in your heart but don't let it get stuck in your head.
