About Me
Title: Student
Organization: University of Washington

I was in first grade at an elementary school called Silver Lake located in Federal Way, WA. Being the narrator of an annual musical play, this forced me to stand in front of the audience during the entire play. I was so nervous that half way through the play, I actually wet my pants in front of everyone! Embarrassment flooded over me, so in the middle of the musical, I ran off to the bathroom crying. This humiliating moment in my life has helped shape me who I am today. I learned that fear would be a barrier that can prevent hard work. Tackling obstacles and facing challenges head-on is the key to success.

"I can do everything through Him who gives me strength."
Philippians 4:13

All of my focus right now is concentrated on my education. It is my dream to go to dental school. With that dream, my passion is to open dental clinics in several third world countries and one here locally as well. I believe that all people that are blessed with the intellectual capacity and the resources to become a professional such as dentists, doctors, business professionals, etc. should give back to the world and leave it better than how they came in.

One thing about dentistry that attracted me was the business aspect of it. To be a successful dentist, you not only have to be a man of science, but also a man of business. It takes a lot of talent to excel at these two fields, especially since they are so contradicting. Loving science and business has drawn me to this field. My passion for business/entrepreneurship is driving me to have more goals than succeeding the field of dentistry.
