This is difficult to summarize, but here's a brief synopsis. I was born and raised in Bellingham, Washington & lived there for the first 19 years of my life until I transferred to the University of Washington to attend Business School. I have lived in Seattle ever since and consider it my "hometown" even though at the present time I am attending graduate school in Vancouver, BC.
My life changed drastically when I became a Christian during my senior year in high school. I have been a committed Christian ever since and seek to live life loving and honoring God by loving others (most of the times unsuccessfully!)
I have spent the majority of my professional career working in Information Technology, though I have also had the privilege of working on projects outside of the IT realm. I began my career working at Arthur Andersen as a Business Consultant where I worked on projects ranging from Strategy, Operations and packaged systems implementations. I then moved on to work at Nordstrom where I supported the implementation of a Retail ERP system & the drove implementation of several process & system controls to ensure the company was compliant for Sarbanes Oxley.
