I have led a very interesting life. I got married while I was in college and have since progressed in both my personal life and in my career.
I have been married for 27 years to the woman I started dating in high school. We have two children,, son and daughter, 23 & 21. My oldest is in his last year at Ohio State and my youngest is at Columbus State.
From my early 20's, I have worked in the IT field for such companies as Macy's, Blue Cross and ITT. In the mid-90's, I got involved in the PeopleSoft community and have been highly involved with that industry ever since.
For my entire life, I was overweight. I lost all of the weight in my early 30's and subsequently enlisted in the Navy Reserve, something I always wanted to do. In 2001, I was called up to support operations in Afghanistan and in 2003, Iraq. I was honorably discharged in 2007. During this "paid-hobby" as my wife called it, I was decorated several times and had one of those life-changing experiences where I was held at gunpoint for six hours by Saudi Arabian officials.
