I interviewed 3 caterers and had 2 tastings for our wedding. Guests were coming in from all ports-of-call and there were genuine beef-eaters to vegans to satisfy. Company presidents, newspaper editors, lawyers, musicians (friends not performers) and everyone else under the sun were attending, so the food had to be fabulous. IT WAS!

Mimosas were on hand for the arrival of the bridal party, which pleased those who had to take care of the nervous bridal couple.

During the reception, the staff was ready, willing and able to handle any request and appointed someone in particular to attend to the bridal table. A friend who writes for the Sun-Times pulled me aside and asked for the caterer's card. Veggie-lovers and rib-eye best-friends were all very, very happy. I am an organic, fresh food snob and the food was absolutely delicious!

Afterward, the staff even genuinely complimented me on the personality of our wedding making my day even that more special.

I couldn't have been more pleased. The Limelight crew deserves all the business they can handle. Please try and pass the word!

Best wishes to Limelight!

Pros: Menu choices, willingness to please
Cons: Follow-through before event could be a little better...but still they really come through!
