Indian Oven is in the Old Market
October 02, 2009
(4.0 / 5 stars)

The first time I went was for my birthday and had a great time. The menu is great. I love spicy food and usually have to request to make it more spicy. They got it right the first time. The breads are great and so are the yogart drinks.

Indian Oven is Well Worth it!
August 15, 2009
(5.0 / 5 stars)

When I have read some of the bad reviews regarding Indian Oven, I was quite honestly surprised. I have been going to Indian Oven since 1981. I usually visit restaraunt at least once a month during dinner or lunch. This is not fast food dining experience but to actually take your time to enjoy your meal. One time I remember I didn't get actually what I ordered; however, once I notified the wait staff it was fixed immediately. The main Chef Grin is very personable and will make sure your needs are taken care of. I will continue to be a loyal customer to Indian Oven.

Best Indian Food Downtown
August 25, 2008
(5.0 / 5 stars)

This is the best Indian restaurant in the downtown Omaha area. They can get spicy so if you don't like that, you should order it mild. The waiters are among the best I've seen at introducing you to the menu and explaining the cuisine if you're not familiar with it.

The Indian Oven is the perfect place for a special date. The food is really expensive, but if you want a place to go for something out of the ordinary and a good atmosphere, try this authentic Indian restaurant.
