This family-friendly Italian restaurant has kept Chicagoans happy since 1950.

In Short
Wood booths, checkered tablecloths and an easygoing, laid-back atmosphere make this place popular for a young family's dinner out or a T-ball team's victory party. Service tends to be quick and a stack of pop culture trivia cards on each table makes the time pass. The large menu features thin-crust and Sicilian-style pizzas that can be done up with the bacon or hamburger standards, or broccoli and tofu. Other entrees include burgers, fried catfish and create-your-own pasta dishes.

(4.0 / 5 stars)

I just moved to Portage Park 3 months ago and stumbled across Leona's. If you are looking for great Italian food this is the place. I have eaten their numerous times and have had great experiences.

Pros: Great Food
Cons: Poor Delivery Service

The Extras:

Those who have an allergy or distaste for tomato sauce may have their pizzas made with an Alfredo or pesto base.

What to Drink:

The more health-conscious can opt for apple, orange or cranberry Nantucket Nectars juices.

Private Rooms:

These restaurants are popular spots for kids' birthday parties and some locations have private party rooms.
