Not the same anymore
January 31, 2010
(2.0 / 5 stars)
This place used to be my favorite but started to decline over the last few months.
First, they use to serve the phad woon sen (my usual) with rice then stopped. Okay, economy is tough but rice is cheap - still I let that one go. Then on my last visit, every bite of phad woon sen had a ridiculous amount of salt, hey I love salt but not when you cannot taste the food. And the icing on the cake was when they charged, for the first time, a fee for using my CC for an order amounting to less than 15 bucks. That is BS, they lost me as a customer. Will not return.

Great customer service and food
January 28, 2008
(5.0 / 5 stars)
I was craving Thai food tonight and could not find any Thai restaurants open nearby. Lucky for me Little Thai is open until 10. When I called in at 9:55 they said that they could take my To Go order. When I got there at 10 to AMAZING - flavorful and cooked to perfection. They were very kind. I will definitely be back!
Pros:
Service, Food, Timeliness, Flavor, Value
Cons:
None

good, cheap food
September 19, 2007
(4.0 / 5 stars)
I lived near Little Thai for about 2 years, so I've tried most of the things on their menu. Their papaya salad is great...and so are the noodles. The only dish that I've been unsatisfied with is the Swimming Rama. The tofu is not fried (that's just my preference) and the peanut sauce is too watery (I think Thai Tom's sauce is wayyy better). But what I like the most about this place is that the people are friendly and the food always comes out fast and hot. If you are eating lunch, ask for a punch-card. Also, during lunch they give free soup/salad. :)
Pros:
phad thai, soy sauce noodles, phad see ew, soups, service
Cons:
swimmin rama

Don't get the dessert
April 24, 2007
(3.0 / 5 stars)
I ordered the curry noodles, which were good but kind of bland. Medium-sized portion.
Okay, and then me and 2 friends ordered dessert...a thai custard with pumpkin and a tapioca ROUND SHAPED OBJECTS (baIls) with taro. Both were really oddly salty, and a strange color. Let's just say...it was an adventure...

You never have to wait to eat good food here
January 02, 2006
(5.0 / 5 stars)
My boyfriend and I wandered to this restaurant after standing outside at another Thai restaurant nearby waiting to be seated. Besides not having to wait for a table, our orders were taken quickly and within minutes, we were eating delicious Thai food. The Spicy Noodles were perfect and the Swimming Rama has a great peanut sauce. The ratio of noodles to vegetables was just right, usually I find that restaurants give more noodles than vegetables but not here.
Pros:
Cheap, Fast service, Not crowded/noisy

Delicious, average-sized portions at low prices

Their version of the ever-popular Phad Thai tastes great, but is red, which seems to be inauthentic, the same way red sweet & sour sauce is (the color one should shoot for is a plain ol brown). Happily, the Phad See Ew does not have that problem and even includes other veggies in addition to broccoli (cabbage, carrot, etc.), which makes for a great dish. The various curries are also tasty, but I wasnt impressed by the amount of filler vegetables, like onion and Chinese cabbage, used in them. Curry portions are also especially small.
Its rarely crowded here, so Ive always been able to sit in one of the nice cushy booths. The fish tank, crawling vines, and assorted thai decoration make for a quaint and interesting ambiance. Service is fairly prompt and friendly, but can teeter on the side of abrupt. Expect to pay about $10 per person.
Pros:
Low prices
Cons:
Slightly sm. portions, Parking

Good for lunch
February 16, 2004
(4.0 / 5 stars)
My group of ten at work go here frequently for birthday lunches. We usually make reservations, and they are always accomodating for such a large group. The food is cheap and dependable, and no one has ever had a problem with their meal. The spiciness can vary with the chef, so it's safer to go with medium or mild (unless you can really take the heat!) Other than that, the food is good, and the service is good enough for a casual lunch.
Pros:
Cheap, Fast, Dependable
