Used to be one of my fav places, however, I do hate when small bars act like a super exclusive club then near the end of their life they start trying to act like a chill local bar for locals only.
Even though I was one of the promoters that worked Thursdays and Sundays, I feel that this venue failed because it used promoters. They should have used in-house promotion and focused on local residents and businesses.
As a local and a promoter, it was always a headache to get in early and chill with my buddies on a night that we want to keep it low key.
From what I understand most locals seems to avoid this place all together. Loose the promoters and let the locals in.
One thing though, I love the interior.
