Unpretentious Bucktown pub with a small-world theme.
This Bucktown bar takes its name from the premise that only six degrees separate any two people, and the owners invite patrons to test that small-world theory by scoping out photos of regulars and friends of the staff that line the walls. A dark wood bar and a half-dozen high-top tables, filled with young professionals from the neighborhood, dominate the front room, where a large mirror over the bar provides ample people watching from every seat. For a more intimate drinking experience, patrons opt for the tables in the small back room. The laid-back crowd comes for the monthly beer specials, the skinny margaritas made with agave nectar and the better-than-average selection of bar food, like juicy turkey burgers and hearty nachos.
