Nightmare for my friends. Pool was installed, took twice as long as initially stated. Poor workman ship and concrete work did not pass local village inspection. If you go with J&C get used to hearing excuses & "Oh, We can fix that." forget about them being there every day until the job is done. After a few checks are given to them it becomes a coin toss weather or not they will show up. Not trustworthy crew. Keep house, garage and Cars locked. No hard proof but something of great value went missing from my friend's garage. J&C employees were the only people around. Walls for pool were installed and had to be torn out 4 days later because J&C installed them improperly. If you have any kind of ground water issue, forget it. J&C can't handle it. If you want a great pool, go with another company. J&C will be busy in court this spring. The other reviews must be written by friends or J&C.

Terrible Experience; certain model pool equipment ordered, but came time to install and got discontinued equipment instead and James the owner tried passing off the equipment as upgrade. So, do your homework and beware of dishonest practices. Also, check all items and delivery dates of all equipment, and get use to the words, "Oh don't worry we can fix that". Knowing that it was done the wrong way the first time and it will have to be mickey mouse'd in order to work. After my friends experience with this company I would not even let them change a light bulb let alone install or repair a pool. Good luck if you choose this company because you will be paying more at the end for repairs!!! Oh and keeping the site clean of debris and secure, I only wish I could show you the pictures I have seen; SAFETY should be a priority with any pool construction and for this company it is not. Many reminders and complaints did not make this a good experience for the home owners and neighbors involved.

It is rare to find a company that will tailor their service to meet your needs and ability to do some of the maintenance yourself. They have always been extremely helpful, informative, and have saved me some money over the years. When there is a problem they are very prompt at making a call to solve it. I highly recommend them.

J & C Quality Pools has helped us out with several pool emergencies over the years as well as opening and closing our pool for the season. They always return phone calls, schedule appointments and show up when promised and the service is great. James helps saves you a few dollars when he can also. This is a pool service you can trust, I highly recommend them!

After hunting around for the best prices on a reasonable outdoor hottub, we settled on J&C in Downers Grove. James (the J part!) helped us pick out the right model for us and saved us a ton of money with the install and chemicals. We still call J&C when we have a question and James is always willing to help. When we put in an in-ground pool, we most definitely will be calling J&C.
