Great value, OK ambience
November 24, 2007
(4.0 / 5 stars)

iSushi is THE place to go in Issaquah for sushi! Sushiman is WAY, WAY too expensive. While the ambience here is a bit noisy and cold, the conveyer-belt concept is fun and always a winner with kids and teens. The staff isn't always as friendly as they could be, but they're OK. I could do without the televised sports -- it adds nothing and is a distraction for my husband when we're eating-out and I want to have his attention. Pricing is reasonable, given that it is Issaquah.

Pros: Great concept, good food, good value, best sushi in issaquah
Cons: Staff could be friendlier, sports on TV

Great sushi at a great price

They have something for the whole family. The kids like to watch the "boats" go around. Our ,youngest likes the Chicken Katsu kids meal $4.50 and the calamari for $1.75. I also have a vegetarian in the family and she likes the croquettes and udon noodles and well as the tofu in the bowl that is well seasoned. Sushi prices start at $1.75 and go up to $5.00. With the free tea, I can have lunch there for $3.50. It's always busy so it's best to get there early on a Friday or Saturday. Lunch time is busy with businessmen, most stopping in alone for a quick meal.

Pros: Most wait staff friendly, fast service, atmosphere
