Decadent cheesecakes and classic American cuisine makes this a popular chain.
February 05, 2009

In Short
Faux-rustic finishes and colorful light fixtures abound at this almost always crowded chain. The thick-as-a-book menu features Americanized versions of worldly cuisines--Mexican, Vietnamese, Italian, Thai--but succeeds best with American classics. Burgers are a good choice, especially the ""Roadside Sliders,"" mini burgers served as appetizers. The myriad cheesecakes are over-the-top in concept and decadence. You'll leave full, with leftovers.

I couldn't give this restaurant even 1 star. It was crowded - which must speak very poorly for all the other eating establishments nearby....because why else would anyone short of starvation go inside? Tthe service was poor - at best (prime example below).

The "food" was marginal - I've gotten actual food just as good from a can...a rusty can. I suspect hobo's eat better at soup kitchens.

There was food scattered about on the floor by our boothe, the matre de stepped over it, as did the bus-boys, and waiters. My wife suggested that maybe they hadn't seen it, so I scooted it out toward the isle....and then ALL THE WAITERS STEPPED OVER IT!!!!

A fortune has probably been spent to to decorate the interior. I prefer good food to interior decoration. Were they concerned about matching the interior to the quality of the food, we would have been eating in a barn, from a trough.

Bon apetite'

Pros: none
Cons: you name it, it's there

Its hardly accurate to rate a place like this by their popular desserts, ie: cheesecake when all of that is made out of state and shipped in frozen. The food at the Galleria location is much better than at this one. This is a much smaller location and seems to have inexperienced kids and managers working it. They do have alot of variety at CCF, which is good. Upon our visit, we were appalled at how the managers treat the staff. The managers/staff cursed in front of the customers and treated the staff with a better than thou attitude. I doubt these managers have any kind of schooling or any reason to treat the staff so mean. Its always upsetting to see employees being treated so poorly in public. . I will not be back.

Busy & a Cheesecake Factory

Always really busy and sometimes hard to get seated. The food is good, I only ever get the crispy, spice beef. I don't really like that they only have the mango iced tea. The cheesecake is always great. Noisy. Looks like a Cheesecake factory, smells like one, tastes like one. Nothing special that makes me really want to go there.

Pros: Cheesecake
Cons: Cheesecake Factory

Horrible experience.

Horrible experience. We had to beg an assistant manager to turn on the heater -- the restaurant was probably about 66 degress. When we finally flagged him down, we asked people at the adjoining tables if they were also cold. Strangers on three sides of us also said they were freezing. My teenage daughter got so cold he arms were turning blue--she had not brought a coat because she had assumed the restaurant would be warm. The waiter was horrible. We had to beg for bread after no food came and he failed to bring more upon our request. (We had ordered salads and an omelette -- not exactly tough stuff to make). After 30 minutes of waiting for our meal after we had ordered, with no more bread on the way while we waited, we gave up and told the waiter we were leaving. He told us we would have to pay for our soft drinks (two sodas), handed us a bill (pretty tacky) and then lauged at us and said "you are ridiculous" as we were walking out.

Pros: Nice looking decord.
Cons: You can't eat decor.
