AVOID THEM IF YOU CAN

Is there a zero star option???? TERRIBLE service! We drive a Passat and are forced to go to the dealership for certain services and dread going to Fletcher Jones. They are incredbly shady about prices (tell you it will be $250 and you go to pick up the car and it's $320), have nothing but excuses for why they can't meet deadlines (my favorite was that their computers don't work sometimes so they aren't sure if they can get the programing completed, when I asked why they don't work I was told by their award winning customer service rep with nothing but excuses that "You know computers, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't!"....actually....that hasn't been my experience), AND finally if you schedule a appointment for service it's an appointment with the customer service rep NOT to get your car in so "you may have to wait" longer than they told you.

Honestly....if you pay premium prices should't you receive atleast good service? I am so tired of going to car dealerships and having experiences like these. You can't trust them...and after my few dealings with Fletcher Jones Chicago...YOU REALLY CAN'T TRUST THEM EITHER. Make the trip to Evanston, do whatever you can to avoid this infuriating experience. They will rip you off.

Pros: none that I can think of....ummm they are the only Audi/VW dealer in the city...or is that a con?
Cons: terrible service, customer services reps with nothing but excuses and very rude

Lousy technicians can't fix problems.

We've had our car into Fletcher Jones multiple times for three recurring problems. I recently ran out of gas with the gas gauge reading 1/2 tank and the low fuel warning did not illuminate. We've had it to FJ at least 4 times for this problem. The airbag light comes on continuously. I've actually lost count of the number of times it's been into FJ for this problem. 5 or 6, maybe?

I'd avoid FJ at all costs, as their techs don't seem to know how to troubleshoot issues to the root cause. They may fix the symptoms of an issue, but they don't necessarily fix the problem.
