In Short
Upon entering the Tao nightclub and lounge, guests are transported to the Far East as waterfalls, Buddha statues, rich velvets and ancient elements fill the interior creating an Asian city on the Vegas strip. The 44,000-square-foot club features three full-service bars, a 40-foot terrace with magnificent views, two main rooms and specialty cocktails. Guests opt for martinis including the Tao-tini, Tiger Lily and Tao Love Potion #9 as well as exotic dishes such as Kobe Beef Shabu Shabu and Peking Duck, to name a few. This celeb hangout offers VIP service featuring eight skyboxes where guests can enjoy Euro bottle service, expresso machines and privacy. Additionally, atop the Tao nightclub and lounge, guests will find Tao Beach open for special events. The Asian inspired beach features poolside cabanas with plasma screen TVs, internet access, a DVD player and pre-programmed iPod rentals and an X Box 360 game station. Lives up to the Hype
May 31, 2011
(4.0 / 5 stars)

I finally partied at Tao nightclub this memorial day, and I have to say the space lives up to the hype. It was crowded and the music was the same pumping auto-tuned crap that they play at every other Vegas club, but this was one of the coolest looking clubs I've ever visited, which made me forgive some of the lamer elements of the place.

My favorite restaurant in Costa Mesa
September 13, 2010
(4.0 / 5 stars)

This is one of our favorite restaurants in Mesa Costa. The food quality is amazing and the gesture is great out here! We are strongly vegetarians and believe me this one of the finest restaurant for veggie people. The menu emphasizes burgers and heirloom tomatoes which I believe is best in the town. I was impressed by the taste selections of the wines by the glass prior to ordering (opened a new bottle for me). Believe me they are awesome.

TAO & TAO Beach VIP for my girls!!!
June 15, 2010
(5.0 / 5 stars)

This was our 4th trip of the year to Vegas, and this was by FAR the best.

Besides the flight getting delayed, the rooms being more expensive than what we expected, and couple of the girls already getting too drunk from the beginning...we had A LOT of trouble from the get go.

Lets just say we were lost and not prepared.

Well ALL of that didn't matter to our host, Kevin, who took care of our partying, dining, and pool party experience.

At TAO Kevin arranged for us to be walked in by a VIP host right past the long ass ridiculous line at TAO and he took care of us at his very own lounge table with drinks to pre-game.

Then he took care of us at another table and gave us rock star treatment throughout.

He also hooked us up at a great restaurant at the Venetian for Saturday night and planned our trip to LAVO nightclub & Palazzo where ONCE again he gave us VIP.

at TAO Beach on Sunday is where we owned the daytime. Comped daybed + free food and beverage, walking in with Kevin and given VIP treatment.

He coordinated everything from when to show up, what taxi routes to take, to restaurants and even gave us a discount for the last day of our stay there.

If you need a Vegas hook up hit up Kevin Lee (714-209-3387) he will take care of it.

Back to Vegas in 3 weeks!!!

Pros: Our host took care of everything!!!
Cons: rooms are too expensive =(

Bouncers Ruin this Place
March 29, 2010
(1.0 / 5 stars)

I live in New York and have been to Tao here in the city many times and have enjoyed it so I decided to check out the club in Vegas.

The setup was ok, the first level was so dark that you could barely see where you were walking but the second level (which I'm guessing is the main level) was much better. The crowd seemed pretty cool and laid back and the bartenders were also very accomodating... but the bouncers were a problem.

After having a decent time all night and tipping my bartenders very well I had a rude waitress try to push me off a wall I was leaning on, when i didn't move she proceeded to have 3 bouncers surround me and kick me out of the club... I was dumbfounded because I had been very laid back all night and was now being treated very aggressively by a heard of bouncers because a waittress was rude to me.

Not really sure what else there is to say, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone because their bouncers are on a serious power trip and treat people terribly...

Pros: Club layout, cool bartenders
Cons: Bouncers

Excellent Service
March 12, 2010
(4.0 / 5 stars)

We had no reservation on a busy Thursday night and were seated within 15 minutes. Our servers were on the ball and very helpful. Appetizer: Peking Duck Spring Rolls - Very Good. Main Courses: White Tuna Special - Excellent, King Crab Roll - OK ( My local small town Fuji has a slightly better version for $2 less), Grilled Swordfish - Some of the best fish you can eat with an incredible butter sauce. The Sea Bass was recommended highly by the table next to us as well. Dessert: Chocolate Lava Cake with Coconut Ice Cream - Very Good ( Comes with chocolate chop sticks). Drinks were very good. The Dr. Losen Reisling is now at the top of my list. It is a beautiful place and we had great service but it is very loud. I don't know about the nightclub except that if you eat dinner here they will stamp your hand to get in for free and you get to jump the line. They are very strict about attire though. I would definitely return for a special occasion!

Pros: Great Service, Great Food, Free Club Entrance
Cons: Noisy
